There is hardly any time when Big B has to apologize for his action, for the actor is so meticulous in his mannerism and methods. However, when at a latest interview, Salim Khan was speaking on the 35 year celebration of ‘Sholay’ stated in an interview that Big B did not give him his due, Amitabh decided to come forward and clear the miscommunication with the veteran actor. It is known that Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar had collectively written some of the biggest movies of Big B’s career. However, with the latest allegation by Salim Khan, Amitabh has come finally come out to very clear the air.

Responding to Salim’s statement, Amitabh said, “Salim saheb is definitely correct. It was he and Javed saheb who gave me ‘Zanjeer’ and recommended me to Prakash Mehra and to a lot of other directors of the time – Manmohan Desai, Yash Chopra, Ramesh Sippy. I have never ever failed to acknowledge this fact. Indeed, in the early years of my profession, when I was questioned what would happen to me if Salim-Javed were to stop writing for me, I had unconditionally stated that I would also stop and finish,” he claims.

“Their contribution has been immense in my film career and I will never stop accepting that. I am extremely sorry if Salim saheb has felt otherwise. I wish to apologise to him and tell him that there has definitely been a miscommunication and that he should never feel that I have thought otherwise. He has been a respected senior for me and shall always remain one,” he adds.

Apparently, Deepika for the very first time hinted in an interview to a news daily that Ranbir’s straying habits lead to their break-up.Though industry was abuzz with rumours that the two parted ways because of Ranbir’s growing fondness for Katrina, Deepika was tight-lipped about her equation with the Kapoor scion.

Speaking to a news daily, Deepika said, “When I am in a relationship, I give it my all. I am totally committed and devoted. I am more giving, maybe because I am a Capricorn. I don`t expect the same back but somehow in all my associations, it has been the guy who has strayed. You can ignore some thing if it happens once, but if it keeps happening, you have to understand that something is incorrect.”The word ‘strayed’ alludes to Ranbir, who could have cheated on her. However, Deepika is more than pleased with Siddharth Mallaya, who can be seen showering all his affection on the actress. But unlike her previous relationship with Ranbir, Deepika is quite careful this time and tightlipped about her private life in media.

Deepika wants to maintain it a low-key affair and has indicated that from now onwards, she’ll be cautious about things which are “very, very personal”.

The final notice call of Nadigar Sangam to the actors who were not associates of the association that they will not be able to function in Tamil films if they do not registered as a member by August 15 has been taken seriously by the artistes this time. Mehr Jesia is furious that someone is applying her name and husband Arjun Rampal’s to appeal models.In the early ’90s, Mehr Jesia had an agency named Face One which lasted only several years. The previous supermodel got a very few calls from models claiming a man from her agency was signing them up. Angry that someone’s using her identify to con aspiring models, she denies any present connection to it.A source discloses, “A few days before she went off on her vacation with husband Arjun Rampal, Mehr got a call from a girl claiming someone was signing her for Face One.

Since she was on her way out of the country, she dismissed the call. However, on her return, she realized someone was really applying Arjun and her name to appeal models.”She confirms, “This did happen. The funny thing is that we don’t have any modelling company under our names. The only agency I had was back in 1992, which I shut after a few years.It’s sad that somebody is using our names to trick people.”Does she plan to take any legal action? “No, I don’t have the time. Unfortunately if you research my name on the Internet, the old agency still comes up.

So somebody is possibly attempting to use that information. I wish to state for the record, however, that neither Arjun nor I run any modelling agency.”
