An IPL team is Bollywood’s most wanted accessory these days. Anybody who’s anybody in the film industry either owns one, has tried to buy one, or has thought about buying one. SRK, Preity Zinta, and Shilpa Shetty are in the first category; Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are in the second; and Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan are believed to be in the third.
But there’s a fourth category, film folk who can’t afford to buy an IPL team – and Priyanka Chopra falls in this category. She says so herself!PC was at an event in Mumbai yesterday (March 10) to announce the screening of DLF IPL 2010 matches live in theatres across India. She was asked if she thought about getting an IPL team herself, when she said, “I can’t afford an IPL team!” She said it with a laugh, of course.
And we don’t think the actress has to pinch pennies (or actually even the crores it takes to buy an IPL team), even though her last release ‘Pyaar Impossible’ disappointed at the box office. So what’s stopping her from buying a team? Any guesses?

Never mind the controversy surrounding her weight when Salman Khan starrer Veer was releasing. I let my muscles recover on a Sunday. I have become very regular with my work-outs and try not to miss even one day whatever are be my engagements for the day,” she says.
Not only this, Zarine has hired three separate trainers for every kinds of training she does in the morning.“My workout regime includes Pilates for an hour every morning with Yasmine Karachiwala. I do weight training thrice a week on alternate days again with Yasmine. I do Bootcamping thrice a week on alternate days with Ajit Mohite. The days I feel very tired to do a bootcamp, I make sure I do some kind of cardio exercises like brisk walking, swimming , jogging etc.,” says the actor.Though Zarine is reading a lot of scripts, she says that she hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet.“I am reading a few scripts and some of them are really good also.

The shooting of Dabangg in Wai seems to be quite an accident-prone event for the cast and team. Only last week, Salman Khan was rushed to a local hospital after he complained of smoke congestion when a fire erupted on the sets. Now Salman’s co-star in Dabangg, Sonu Sood has landed himself with a fractured nose while shooting for the film earlier this week. Sonu who, despite the injury, is continuing shooting for the film in Wai. “Yes…It’s true that I got hurt two days ago while shooting. We were shooting a fight scene between Salman and me that is a part of the climax.
During the practice, one of the fighters jumped and his knee happened to hit my nose real hard. The pain was quite severe and I was taken to the hospital for an X-ray and scan. The X-ray revealed a fracture in my nose. The doctor advised me bed rest for 3-4 days, but since we were shooting the climax scene between Salman and me I didn’t want to delay the schedule. I landed on the sets the very next day after taking some painkillers and shot for some light scenes.”One must say that Sonu has indeed shown true professionalism by continuing to shoot in spite of a fractured nose.
He will return to Mumbai in a week’s time, after finishing the current schedule of Dabangg in Wai. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Salman Khan has become the brand ambassador of the detergent brand, Wheel. In fact, he holds great regard for the brand, and is not in any way deterred by the fact that the detergent should ideally have a female ambassador. “I am extremely proud to be associated with one of India’s oldest and most respectable brands. Wheel has become a household name, and has a superb history of many years,” says Salman Khan.
This is not his first endorsement, as is well known. The megastar has been connected with many important brands, from Thumbs Up to Red Tape Shoes to Chloromint. Most of these brands underlined his macho man image.Interestingly, his least favourite person at present, Shah Rukh Khan, took a similar route, when he decided to endorse a woman-oriented product, Lux. He, like the rest of us, must be dying to know just what Salman does in the ad.
