Nonetheless, he was quick to state that knowing the latter’s penchant for perfection, he must have mastered the art of painting by now.

And then went on to rave about his buddy’s astute marketing and promotional strategies. Meanwhile, Aamir, at the 3 Idiots DVD launch, enthused about how everyone he met was looking forward to his Salman’s upcoming movie. “The promotions have generated very strong buzz about Dabangg,” said Aamir. He added that he was now waiting for Salman to show him the movie.

Hmm… I haven’t heard of such buddy-bonding among actors in quite a while!

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor who has shown his versatility in portraying different roles in the limited phase of his career has found a new love in drumming. He develops liking for drums while shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Anjaana Anjaani’. While filming some promos for the movie, one of the crew members of the film gave Ranbir some lessons on drumming. Ranbir Kapoor approached the guy and he imparted him lessons on drumming.

Ranbir picked up the beats very quickly as he is a fast learner and also he loves music a lot. No sooner, he picked up the correct beats, he entertained the team with his drumming. The team person who taught the actor how to beat the drums was more than happy to teach Ranbir. The training session was quite entertaining.

Sanjay Gadhvi is back at Yash Raj Films. Sanjay Gadhvi has been going through a few lawful matters with film producers and corporate houses and after his exit from the Yash Raj camp.His film Kidnap sank at the box office and he landed in a soup with production houses for not having been able to start the movie on time after taking advances to make the film.

Sanjay’s last big thing was Dhoom 2 and the man is now back to trying to make the third in the series.The actors are now being selected and after John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan it does seem that it will be Shah Rukh Khan in the negative lead. SRK has been helped during his early days by Yash Chopra and the Khan has not forgotten the favours that he has got and is clearly the favourite for the job in the franchise that has earned a lot of money for the Chopras.

An official announcement is expected in around a fortnight from the Yash Raj camp or possibly would be done on Chopra’s 75th birthday that falls end September.

Dhoom 3 looks for bigger celeb

Indian PM Manmohan Singh Sunday (August 29) evening watched ‘Peepli Live’ at his 7 Race Course Road residence, an official said. “Dr. Singh watched the movie with attention,” the official in the PM’s Office said after the special screening of the movie.

‘Peepli Live’ is a political spoof based on farmers’ suicides and the extra approach by media on issue.Manmohan Singh’s wife Gursharan Kaur, his family members and some close friends also watched the film at the special screening.

According to Congress sources, some party leaders had recommended the movie to the prime minister.Earlier, Aamir had held a screening of ‘Peepli Live’ for senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader L K Advani and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray
