After receiving rave reviews for her serious performance in ‘Raajneeti’, Katrina Kaif was approached by director Kabir Khan, the man behind ‘Kabul Express’ and ‘New York’. Kabir Khan will next direct a film of Yash Raj banner. The film is said to be a romantic thriller.

Katrina Kaif has been approached for the female lead whereas the male actor is yet to be finalized. Says Khan, “My film definitely has a strong element of romance in it. I’m scheduled to meet Aditya Chopra soon to finalise the cast. But it’s too early to say anything more at the moment’.

Since John Abraham was a common factor in both his films, he is assumed to play the lead role. However, Yash Raj is yet to make the official announcement.

Former skipper of Pakistan Cricket team, Shaoib Malik has often lead his men to many cricketing victories in the past, but in an interesting turn of events, it was a game worth a dekko when Bollywood’s ultimate hunk Salman Khan pitted his ‘Being Human’ team against the Pakistan Cricket team.

News has it that Shoaib joined hands with Salman to fight it out with his known team-mates on perusal from his lovely wife Sania Mirza who is a big fan of Salman!

At the Dubai Sports City May 27, Shoaib surprised everyone by playing in Salman`s Indian team against his fellow team-mates led by Shoaib Akhtar, who played against Salman`s ‘Being Human’ team from Bollywood.

Initially, Shoaib was reluctant to play in Salman`s team. However, it was wife Sania who convinced him.
“Sania Mirza is a huge Salman fan.

When Salman asked her husband to play in his team, Shoaib Malik was naturally reluctant. But then Sania`s persuasive powers over her husband worked. When it came to Salman, Sania wouldn`t hear a no even from her own husband,” said a source from Salman`s team.

Speaking to a news daily, Arbaaz Khan said: “It was a friendly match with mixed teams nothing like playing for or against. All in good spirit and for fun.”
