B-town celebrities are minting money like crazy. If in doubt, count the number of films they sign up for in a year. Just when we thought that the new generation has taken off, we are rudely awakened from only to realise that the best will always be there no matter who comes and who goes. And you’’d agree when we say, ‘It’s better that way’. Read on to know which star has hie many films in his or her kitty.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – The green-eyed Bachchan bahu (9 films)
She was a star even before she stepped into Bollywood. Her fame spread worlwide. With her beauty and intelligence she held her head high through thick and thin. Married into the Bachchan family, she now has an additional jewel in her crown.
Action Replayy – Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai act together after a long time. Produced by Vipul Shah, the film is set to release in June this year.
Rani Laxmibai – The historical film will be directed by Ketan Mehta and so far only Aishwarya has been signed for the main role. The film belongs to a genre.
Raaste – Ekta Kapoor and Suniel Shetty bring together Abhishek and Aishwarya along with John Abraham and Sikandar Kher.
Happy Birthday – The sci-fi film will have John Abraham and Paresh Rawal along with Ash. Music by Vishal-Shekhar and directed by Sriram Raghavan.
Dhun – Eros Entertainment brings the husband and wife together for the film. The film is currently under production.
Guzaarish – The steaming pair of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya will be together again in this film. This Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is eagerly awaited.
Crooked – To be directed by Abhinay Deo, the film also stars Jimmy Shergill, Soniya Jehan, and Shahana Goswami along with Abhishek Bachchan who is its leading man. The film is a part of Excel Entertainment.
Enthiram – is also known as Robot. Aishwarya is to play the main lead opposite the Tamil superstar Rajinikanth.
Biscuit – Aishwarya and Abhishek have been signed together for a lot of films. This is another addition to the already long list.
Raavana – A romantic action film starring Abhishek and Aishwarya along with Manisha Koirala and Govinda is almost near completion. This Mani Ratnam film was the first they began shooting for post their wedding.

Ash-Abhi beat SRK, bag more films
Deepika Padukone in short time has made mark in the Bollywood and made friends too. She might have gone through a bad patch personally after her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor but she has picked herself up well and moved on. According to sources, the reason she might have got over this so quick is her newfound friendship with Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
She started her career with SRK camp and quickly made foray in to other domains of Bollywood. In fact, she is the one who has never confined to any particular camp.The story goes that Deepika and Abhishek got very friendly in Goa while shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelenge Jee Jaan Se while she just had a breakup with beau Ranbir.
Deepika and Abhishek bonded well during the Goa schedule and the friendship has become so thick that Deepika is often seen going to Abhi-Ash’s residence for lunches and dinners.

Deepika Padukone is close to Aishwarya, Abhishek
Recently Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar had to fly to Manali to shoot romantic song in director Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s film Action Replayy. But unexpectedly it snowed a lot in Manali in February. And due to certain risks Shah cancelled the shoot.
Shah’s patience is really being tested for this movie as first, Ash’s extended the shoot for Mani Ratnam’s film, Raavan and now the weather is spoiling everything.The song that had to be shot is based on a 1970s melody by Pritam.
Vipul now requires some other date from both the stars for shooting the song that is rather difficult to set. So Vipul may have to cancel the song from the film.

Snow plunders Akshay-Aishwarya love song
The first family of Indian cinema, the Bachchan parivar, will not attend the Filmfare Awards in protest of the “fake” report published by a Mumbai-based tabloid about Aishwarya Rai’s health. Aishwarya, who was to perform at the awards has pulled out from the event and the Bachchans have served a legal notice to the newspaper and are demanding a public apology.The tabloid and Filmfare both belong to the same publishing group, who are organising the award ceremony.”The lawyers notice has been delivered… seeking on a legal plane retraction and apology and we have informed Filmfare that neither will Aishwarya be performing at the event, for which all preparations had been made and neither shall any of us be attending,” wrote Amitabh Bachchan on his blog.
The tabloid had published an article stating that Aishwarya is suffering from stomach tuberculosis and therefore cannot conceive, a news branded as “totally fake” by father-in-law Amitabh.”For the moment that despite a few personal apologies from management and owners, no public apology has taken place. You cannot abuse me in public and then come and say sorry to me in private,” wrote the veteran actor.The Bachchans are being supported by R Balki, director of Amitabh and Abishek-starrer Paa, who too will skip the event despite his film being nominated in 5 categories.”
Balki, the director of the film, even when Paa has been nominated in five categories for the evening, is not attending. Thank you Balki,” added Bachchan.
