Shahrukh Khan recently said to a Tabloid that he and Aamir are friends. He considers that both of them have the same sense of humour. Shahrukh is never bothered about her box office figures, so he is not bothered about other’s collection.
Shahrukh feels he has grown as an actor after doing ‘My Name is Khan’.Recently when he performed in Dubai, he could feel the vibes from the audience were warmer than usual.Shahrukh will only do selective roles now.
He won’t be doing cameos and guest appearances any more. Shahrukh feels My Name is Khan has brought altogether a different set of self realization.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who turned 45, has an assorted wish list on his birthday — he wants to learn a couple of languages, spend time with family and learn cooking from his “aami”.”I am looking forward to spending time with my family and mom. My kids will be coming anytime. No special celebration, just being with the family,” Aamir told reporters after cutting the cake at his residence in Pali Hill here with six-year-old Manvi, who had come with her journalist mother. Even though he had no plans for celebration, when visitors poured in, he obliged.
Before cutting the cake, Aamir met his fans who had come with gifts and bouquets to wish him on his birthday.”This year I am looking forward to spending lot more time with my family, with my children, my mom and Kiran. Professionally, I have three films up for release this year Peepli Live, Delhi Belly and Dhobi Ghat,” he said.”I have to learn a couple of things. I want to learn two languages. One is Marathi, which I can read and write but can’t speak and the other is Urdu, which I can speak but can’t read and write. I also want to learn swimming,” Aamir said. “I will also learn to cook from my aami. She is a brilliant cook,” he added.
Asked what his wife Kiran gifted him on his birthday, he said: “Kiran has made a painting for me.”Aamir shared his experience of meeting Hollywood film director James Cameron in Delhi.”It was wonderful experience to meet James. He is a wonderful person and a great filmmaker. I got the opportunity to meet him, know his thoughts…he is very down to earth. It was a great honour and privilege to talk to him,” Aamir said.Asked if he is signing any Hollywood film, he said: “If something interesting comes up, I am ready to take it up. But right now, I am not doing any film.”

Aamir Khan, who will be turning 45 on March 14, has desired to work with Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh had earlier jokingly said that he would work with Aamir, only if Aamir directs the movie. Aamir Khan recently said in an interview, “I have always been a big fan of Amitabh. I have been looking forward to getting the chance to work with him for a number of years now.
So far, the right thing has not come up. I’m hoping that it will happen soon.”The actor further added, “I will be thrilled to direct Amitabh Bahchan. He is a great actor and I would really cherish the chance to do that. But the material has to be right.
It should be something that excites both of us.”Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan have never worked together. It will surely be a huge thing if the two stalwarts come together.

Aamir Khan and James Cameron, the aces from Bollywood and the West respectively, are all set to share the stage at a forum in the capital on Saturday. The two will discuss the future of cinema as key speakers at the forthcoming event which will address the changing environment of filmmaking. While there’s surely going to be a lot of talking about their respective work, reports reveal that Aamir is looking forward to meeting Cameron, and the actor-director has also prepared a list of questions he desires to ask the Hollywood filmmaker.
Aamir also intends to talk to the ‘Avatar’ director about the ways of marketing and distributing Indian films in the West.A source says, “Aamir is looking forward to meet Cameron. Like everyone else, he too is dazzled by the special effects and 3D technology of ‘Avatar’. He plans to sit with Cameron and talk to him about his views on the changing nature of films.”On the other hand, Cameron, who is all set to visit India for the first time, has also been sent the DVDs of the actor’s current films to watch before the two speakers meet.
Reports reveal that Aamir and Cameron will also be attending a private dinner later that evening. Well, it’s surely going to be a ‘big’ cinematic evening on March 13.

Australia would be the last country for any filmmaker to release Hindi film at the moment owing to the series of attacks on Indians there. However, Rajkumar Hirani is releasing his blockbuster 3 Idiots there with an aim to bridge the break between the two countries. Hirani, who is presently in Australia along with Rani Mukherjee to promote Indian film festival, is screening 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor in the country starting today (March 11).The director said that the incidents of the attacks on Indians are sad but that doesn’t mean that all Aussies are against Indians.
Rani also said that they are in the country for Australians and for the Indians and the Asian communities who love Indian films. She added that they are there for a greater cause, as only few believe in hatred.Director of the Film Festival Mitu Lange is looking forward to bring about cultural bridge between the Australian and Indian communities through the film festival. He added that the two free film screenings at Melbourne’s Federation Square on Thursday and Saturday would draw in huge international students.
The organisers of the film festival are hoping to draw a large number of Indian students and international students to watch Indian films which will be screened in cities like Sydney, Perth and Auckland in New Zealand.
